Our Website interface has been designed to make your shopping experience with us a pleasant one. However we are constantly looking to improve it! Your feedback is valuable to us, so please send any comments or suggestions you may have to Customer Service

Placing an Order: 

Once you found the product you would like to purchase, click on the “add to cart” icon.

If you would like to continue shopping, just click on the “continue” button. Every time you put an item in your cart, you will be shown the list. In viewing your cart, you also have the opportunity to delete items, as well as adding quantities. When you have finished selecting your purchase(s), proceed by clicking on “Checkout”.

At this point you will be asked to give complete billing and shipping information. All this information is stored on a secure server to insure your privacy as well as safety.

Once the information is given, you can submit your order and Giftybox will email you a confirmation number.

Payment Options:

Giftybox accepts all major credit cards Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

Please note that all payment transactions you make with us are encrypted using SSL encryption making your shopping experience at Giftybox perfectly safe.

Shipping:

Giftybox provides several shipping options for orders sent to addresses within the United States: Standard Shipping (Ground), FedEx 2-day, FedEx Overnight and Hand-Delivery (in Manhattan only, up to 96th Street).

Delivery times and rates are set as follows:

Orders placed by Noon (EST) Monday to Friday will usually ship the same business day (M-F).

We charge a single flat fee for each shipment, plus a smaller fee for each additional item.

Standard Shipping:
Normally ships within 3 to 5 business days.
Standard Shipping costs are $8.95 + $2.50 per additional Giftybox or additional Gift Pass.

FedEx 2-day Shipping:
Normally ships within 2 business days. This is a cost-saving alternative when packages don't need overnight speed.
FedEx 2-day Shipping costs are $19.50 + $2.50 per additional Giftybox or additional Gift Pass. Please note that in most cases Saturday deliveries are not available with this shipping mode. Please contact customer service at 1.888.SOGIFTY - Toll Free (888) 764-4389 to find out whether this option is available in you area.

FedEx Overnight Shipping:
Normally ships for next day delivery throughout the U.S.
Overnight Shipping $39.50 + $2.50 per additional Giftybox or additional Gift Pass. Please note that FedEx does not deliver on Sundays and that some destinations are not available for Saturday deliveries. Please contact customer service at 1.888.SOGIFTY - Toll Free (888) 764-4389 to find out whether this option is available in you area.

Hand-Delivery in NYC:
If you are shipping to a destination within Manhattan (below 96th street only), your order can be hand-delivered on the same day if ordered by 3:00pm EST, or the next business day if ordered after 3:00pm EST.
Hand-Delivery in NYC is $15 + $2.50 per additional Giftybox or additional Gift Pass.

Note: Restrictions on Hand-Delivery and Overnight Shipping may apply during the busy holiday season. Please call us with any questions or special requests at 1.888.SOGIFTY - Toll Free (888) 764-4389.

Please note that by default, our checkout cart sets the shipping mode to standard shipping unless you specify otherwise.

We do not deliver to any APO/FPO or P.O. Boxes. All shipping address modifications or recipient name changes on your order will be subject to a $10.00 fee (FedEx rate) once your order has shipped.

Signature requests:

In some cases FedEx residential deliveries are released without a signature and left at your front door. If you do not wish to see your package released without a signature please contact 1.888.SOGIFTY - Toll Free (888) 764-4389 before placing your order.

Information & Updates:

Every effort has been made to ensure that each Giftybox is as up-to-date as possible at press time. The authors have done their best to ensure the accuracy and currency of all information. Some details, however, are liable to change. The Giftybox holders are advised to check for updates on Giftybox Live after activating their Gift Pass: some venues, experience providers, services and experiences may have changed, due to reasons beyond our control (i.e. some experience providers may terminate their operation or change their activity or program). We will make every reasonable effort to offer you a comparable experience. We may for any reason and at any time remove some of the featured experiences or substitute any others, and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to Giftybox holders by reason of such removal or substitution. Images are for illustration purposes only and many not accurately reflect the details of real experiences.

Experience providers requirements:

Giftybox holders are advised to check with the experience provider they select for any specific requirements or restrictions they may have (reservations, weather conditions, availabilities, minimum or maximum age or weight, health). Prior reservations are required. Check with venues for hours of operation and schedule in advance. Some venues may require a credit card number to hold your reservation. Please allow 48 hours notice before scheduled time if you want to reschedule an appointment (check cancellation or rescheduling policy with each venue, some may not allow any). Any missed appointment or late notice will void your Gift Pass. Space may be limited. Private experiences may be replaced with group experiences depending on availabilities.

Gift Pass & Discovery Passport:

Your Gift Pass is valid for one experience only, and is no longer valid once it has been redeemed for the agreed service. Your Discovery Passport is valid one time only at up to five venues that you visit for the first time and for first-time visitors only. Gift Pass and Discovery Passport don't include gratuities.

Once activated, your Gift Pass may be used at the locations described in the Giftybox and be redeemed for the qualifying services only. Your Gift Pass is not a gift card. It may not be redeemed for cash or credit and cannot be applied to purchases nor combined with other offers. Gift Pass must be presented upon arrival at selected venue. No copies/facsimiles are accepted. Gift Pass cannot be used at locations where Discovery Passport has been used. Discovery Passport cannot be combined or used jointly with Gift Pass, nor used at any location where Gift Pass has been redeemed. Please check with each venue for specific details on their Giftybox offer.

Gift Pass and Discovery Passport are valid till the date shown on Giftybox back cover and can never exceed that date. Gift Pass may be voided if not activated before use.

Returns, refunds and cancellations:

If you are not completely satisfied with your Giftybox purchase, you may return unused, resalable products within 21 days of the original date of purchase. 

Please note that all returns are subject to final approval from our Customer Service Department. To notify us, simply contact Customer Service with the following information:  

  • Order number
  • Product number and/or product name
  • Reason for return
  • Return for replacement, exchange, store credit or refund
  • Contact information (first & last name, address, phone and email address)

    Our Customer Service team will send you a Return Authority Number (RA#) with instructions on how and where to send the package. Remember, all Giftyboxes must be in their original, perfect condition with box, Guidebook, Gift Pass and Discovery Passport  intact. No returns will be accepted without an RA#. Also, please note that there is a $20 restocking fee for any Giftybox returned without its original shrinkwrapping. Products that cannot be resold (damaged, missing elements, etc.) will not be accepted. Orders purchased during special promotions or with promotion codes are non-refundable, but may be returned for replacement, exchange or store credit. Shipping charges if any are non refundable. If for any reason you need to cancel your order, we will do our best to stop it from being shipped. However, once the order is in transit, we cannot change or cancel the order and therefore you will have to follow the Return Policy procedure stated above. Orders that are cancelled will be processed as returns and the same conditions apply. Customers will be responsible for the shipping charges for rejected shipments. We will only refund shipping costs if the return is the result of our error.

    Expiration Date:

    Your Gift Pass is valid till the date shown on the Giftybox and can never exceed that date.

    If your Giftybox has not expired yet but is about to expire within 90 days of purchase, you may send your original Gift Pass back to us before it expires, with your proof of order or purchase, or store receipt, by certified mail or FedEx/UPS and we will ship you a new Gift Pass with an extended expiration date at no cost to you. Please write to Sogifty Publishing/Giftybox Customer Service - Replacement Plan, 28 West 27th Street, Suite 503, New York, NY 10001. Please do not send your complete Giftybox, just mail your Gift Pass – no Giftybox will be shipped back. Detach and keep the smaller portion of your Gift Pass for your records.

    If you don't have any proof of purchase, or at any time within 180 days after your Giftybox expiration, you can request an extension of your Gift Pass for an additional US$25.00. Just mail us your current Gift Pass (please do not send your complete Giftybox, just send your Gift Pass) by certified mail or FedEx/UPS, together with a check of US$25.00 and we will ship you a new Gift Pass with an extended expiration date. Please write to Sogifty Publishing/Giftybox Customer Service - Extension Plan, 28 West 27th Street, Suite 503, New York, NY 10001. Detach and keep the smaller portion of your Gift Pass for your records.

    Please be aware that certain Giftybox titles may be discontinued or no longer available. Therefore, we may replace your Gift Pass with another title and theme of the same or lower value as long as such titles are available. In this case, we will not offer credit or monetary refund. Our Gift Passes do not carry any dollar value and therefore shall not be considered as a gift certificate or gift card, except to the extent such a consideration should be contradicted by specific provisions of laws.

    Please note that the bonus gifts or offers inluded in you Discovery Passports are subject to change from one edition to another. In the event you request a product exchange or extension the offers outlined in your new Discovery Passport may be different from the previous ones. Offers available in your Discovery Passport are considered as bonus/courtesy gifts and shall not constitute a basis for any claim.

    Product Exchange:

    You may request a product exchange, at least 180 days before your Giftybox expires. Just mail your original Giftybox (and intact Gift Pass) back to us before these 180 days, by certified mail or FedEx/UPS, together with a check of US$15.00 for standard shipping and restocking fee plus any price difference between your original Giftybox and the new one you would like, and we will ship you a new Giftybox of your choice.     Lost or Stolen Items:

    Please safeguard your Giftybox, Gift Pass and Discovery Passport: it is non refundable and not replaceable if lost, damaged or stolen. The bearer is responsible for its loss or theft.

    Recipients:

    The reader and Giftybox holder understand that their participation in any activity or use of any service is at their own discretion and acknowledge that they are responsible for their own safety and well-being. They willingly and knowingly assume for themselves, and their heirs, family members, executors, administrators and assigns, all risk of physical injury, emotional upset, property damage, theft, or any other physical or mental disorder or accident which may result from the use of the Giftybox. They hold the publisher, its officers, directors, employees, agents, resellers, distributors and third parties harmless from any and all liability arising out of the advice or use of the Giftybox.

    Giftybox holders may be required to complete a waiver and/or release form as requested by the experience provider they selected. Whether or not required to, these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to be an undertaking and acknowledgement by Giftybox holders that they accept on behalf of themselves and any other people that would join them, all the terms and conditions set out herein.

    To fully participate may require extended periods of walking over even and uneven surfaces, and/or steep terrain. There may be steps, inclines, cobblestone surfaces, and extended periods of standing. Participants with physical limitations should take this into account. Experiences have been selected for participants in good health and good physical condition. Some of the experiences are not recommended for pregnant women or individuals with heart problems or with any special health condition or physical challenge (seeking a doctor’s prior advice is recommended).

    Waiver:

    Publisher operates as an independent entity from any of its experience providers. Publisher makes no warranty of any kind regarding any service/experience Giftybox holder may receive in connection with its use and redemption of the Gift Pass. Experience providers’ personnel are independent contractors and not acting as agents or representatives of the publisher. Publisher assumes no liability whatsoever for any service, advice, or other services provided by such persons.

    The publisher, its officers, directors, employees, agents, resellers, distributors and third parties cannot accept responsibility for any consequences arising from the use of this Giftybox, nor for any material on third party websites or locations, and cannot guarantee that any mention in this Giftybox will be a suitable source of information. They shall not be liable for any loss, injury, claim, inconvenience, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses sustained as a result of advice contained in this Giftybox or use of its Gift Pass or Discovery Passport or the performance or non-performance of any experience provider.

    Product availability:

    Most items displayed on our Website are available in stock and ready to be shipped. However, once and a while we may unfortunately run out of a particular title before been able to remove it from our site. In this particular event we will immediately contact you to let you know and offer you a full refund, store credit or suggest an alternate purchase.

    Product pricing:

    We work hard to bring you the best value for your money. All our products are listed in U.S. dollars and are susceptible of change without prior notice. In the improbable event a product on our Website is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or some other mistake, we shall have the right to cancel any order (processed or not) taken while the item was mislabbled. If your credit card has already been charged, Giftybox will immediately issue you a refund for the amount of the item.

    Product display:

    We have done all our best to display on our Website our products as accurately as possible. However, colors may vary somewhat depending on the settings of your monitor.
